019 / Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich by Warrant, 1989

As a kid, the music I was exposed to was broken up into four parts:

  1. My mom, who listened to soft rock and country
  2. My father, who listened to mostly news reports but shared his love for Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole
  3. My cousins who exposed me to freestyle, techno, and hip hop
  4. My brother, (who I owe a majority of my music knowledge to) who listened to new wave, hair/glam metal, jazz, r&b, and house

I was [and still am] quite the ballad fan, especially from metal bands like Warrant.

Today's color palette features their debut album, Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich (a CD I had secretly stolen from my brother to record the song "Heaven" on a cassette tape) and just noticed the dude had a nose ring... the things you miss when you're 9 years old.
